Shown by Tom McCutcheon, this powerful show horse has earnings of over $21,000 on his way to winning the 2008 SWRHA Open Futurity Reserve Championship and making the finals at the 2008 Tulsa Classic Open Futurity and 2008 NRHA Open Futurity. Gimme Major Bucks Wins Big at 2009 NRBC!

Congratulations to Christy McElreath on winning the Limited Non Pro and Non Pro 1 Championships at the NRBC while riding her new horse, Gimme Major Bucks (Smart Starbuck x Majors Serendipity). This duo also won the Int Non Pro Reserve Championship and made the Non Pro Finals. And they posted a 222.5 in the preliminaries to win the first go in all divisions! For their wins they earned over $36,000! Gimme Major Bucks was raised at Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, and shown by Tom and previous owner Sarah Willeman. Many congrats to Christy and her trainer Pete Kyle on purchasing this nice horse!

A Successful 2009 NRBC for Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses!

At the 2009 NRBC, Tom McCutcheon rode two horses to the Open Finals to earn over $13,000. He did so riding Lonely Elan, owned by Roxanne Koepsell, and Star For the Chics, owned by Sarah Willeman/Turnabout Farm.
Congratulations to assistant trainer Sebastian Petrol on winning the Limited Open Co-Championship riding Roxanne Koepsell's mare, Miss Brim Peppy! They also finished tie 7th in the Intermediate Open Finals, earning over $17,000. Additionally, Sebastian rode Charles Stinner's horse, A Cowgirls Money, by Major Vaquero, to 6th in the Limited Open Finals.
Non Pro Sarah Willeman had a great show, placing tie 5th in the Non Pro Level 1 Derby riding Lil Ruf Whiz, and tie 9th on Chic Olena Starbuck by Smart Starbuck. She placed tie 8th in the Limited Non Pro Derby and tie 7th in the Intermediate Non Pro Derby on Chic Olena Starbuck.
In the Short Stirrup Class, congrats go to Cade McCutcheon on winning the Reserve Championship riding Okie Dun Did It, as well as 4th place riding Dun Being An Okie.

Smart Starbuck offspring excel at 2008 NRHA Futurity!

Congratulations to Mandy McCutcheon on riding Smart Scat (Smart Starbuck x Scats Frecklefoot) to win the Non Pro Futurity Championship and a $43,802 payout. Special thanks to Jimmy McCutcheon, who owns Smart Scat, and Tim and Colleen McQuay for all their help.
Congratulations also to Nimble Star Wars and Andrea Fappani on winning the second go and placing 10th in the Open Futurity. Sired by Smart Starbuck and owned by Alfred Neuberger, Nimble Star Wars added another $27,433 to his considerable earnings.
Congrats also to Steve Harris on riding his horse, Smart Coco Bean (Smart Starbuck x Goodtime Girl) to the NRHA Non Pro Futurity Finals and on winning the the first go of the Prime Time Non Pro!

Starbucks Finest & Randy Paul win Jr Reining World Championship!

Congratulations to Starbucks Finest (Smart Starbuck x Dun It Sweetly), ridden by Randy Paul, on winning the 2008 AQHA Jr Reining World Championship. The win was especially sweet, since it put Randy over the $1 Million Dollar mark in NRHA Earnings! Owned by Rancho Oso Rio/Pat Warren, Starbucks Finest now has over $28,000 in NRHA Earnings and was a finalist at the Congress Open Futurity, NRHA Open Futurity with Tom McCutcheon.

Congratulations to Star For The Chicks (Smart Starbuck x Dun It By Chick), ridden by Tom McCutcheon to the SWRHA Open Futurity Reserve Championship. The duo won over $11,000 for owner Cioli Giovanni. In the Non Pro Futurity, Mandy McCutcheon rode Smart Scat (Smart Starbuck x Scats Frecklefoot) to win the Non Pro Futurity Championship, as well as the Non Pro Mare Incentive, earning over $8,200.

Electric Code wins 2008 RMRHA Summer Slide Futurities

Congratulations to Jared LeClair on riding Electric Code (Jacs Electric Spark x Hot Coded Candy) to the Summer Slide Open Futurity and Open Stallion Stakes Co-Championships and Int Open Futurity Co-Championship. Electric Code was bred and raised by Tom & Mandy McCutcheon and was sold at the Legacy Sale.
2008 NRHA Derby News

Tom McCutcheon rode Ruf Hearted Jac, owned by Sarah Willeman, to tie 3rd in the 2008 Adequan® /USEF National Reining Championships. In doing so, they earned a slot on the 2008 USA Team for the FEI World Reining Championships in Italy this September!
Mandy McCutcheon won the Non Pro Derby on I Spin For Chics for the second year in a row. She also made the finals on her other two mounts, Dun It Found A Star and Haidachino Hollywood.
Assistant Trainer Sebastian Petroll made the Limited Open Derby finals on three horses: 7th on Gimme Major Bucks owned by Sarah Willeman; 5th on Miss Brim Peppy owned by Roxanne Koepsell; and 4th on Dun It In The Bay, owned by Tom McCutcheon.
And Cade McCutcheon won the Short Stirrup reining on Lenas Taxman with a 215 score! He was also second on Dun Being An Okie.
