Sebastian Petroll
Assistant Trainer
Sebastian, who grew up in Germany, started riding at the age of 10. As a youth he showed All Around horses, winning some big titles like European Champion and Year End High-point. After attending business school, Sebastian decided to turn his hobby into a career and started training Horses professionally. He went to work for different ranches in Germany as well as in the United Sates. “I had the opportunity to learn from a lot of good trainers," noted the 26 year old who also holds a NRHA Judges Card.

Barb Wibbels
Breeding Manager
An integral part of Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, Barb has been involved with horses for over 19 years. At the age of 13, Barb started working a local stable, and has been hooked ever since. She attended the University of River Falls in Wisconsin and graduated with a degree in Animal Science. During her college years, she raced barrel horses, making the College National Finals Rodeo in 1993.

Barb has worked for top NRHA trainers Donnie Bricker, Margaret Fuchs, and spent three years working with Brian Wellman in Wisconsin. In the summer of 1998 she moved south to work for Tom where she is involved with the care of the horses both on the road and at home. Barb considers these professionals a great asset to her career. "I have been fortunate to have worked with different trainers, and all of them had something valuable to teach me"," she said.

Currently, Barb is the full time Ranch/Breeding Manager at Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses Inc. For all breeding questions call Barb at 940-390-8489.

Although the horses take up most of Barb's spare time, she likes to shop, read and travel when she gets the chance.

Joe Schmidt
Assistant Trainer
We are excited to have Joe Schmidt and his wife Megan join our team! Joe is well known for his expertise training and showing open horses, in addition to coaching many successful non pros Joe has over $130,000 in NRHA earnings to his credit and has been an Open and Int Open Futurity Finalist as well as an NRHA Open Derby Finalist.

Office Manager
We are also happy to have Joe's wife, Megan Schmidt, as part of our team. Megan is the Office Manager at Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, and we rely on her to keep things running smoothly.
